WIP Wednesday

Quilting, quilting! I'm working like mad on this quilt, because I would love to take some outdoor pictures with the beautiful fall foliage as long as it is still there. So I need to get it finished as soon as possible.
I'm working on the border now and only need to quilt two sides of it.
The soft Kaffe Fassett stripe quilts like a dream, especially together with the vintage sheet I used as the backing:
The quilt already is soo soft and cuddly. It will be our sofa quilt, so I dug deep into my hoarded sheets and selected this one with the cute border print.
I`ll show you the front and back of the whole quilt soon!
The binding is prepared and is waiting to be attached. I chose this purple Oakshott that looks beautiful with its changing hues.
Yesterday I received a few fabrics that I found on ebay.
I was searching for a Marjolein Bastin book (my dutch readers will know her) when I found this gorgeous text fabric! I never knew that she did a fabric line. I love Marjolein, and I love text prints, so I had to have it. And to fill the envelope, I bought a few more. :-) The seller was super nice and shipped them really fast.
