Dark Rainbow Star Quilt

 The quilt is already on it's way to the new owner.
Before I packed it up, we took it with us to take some photos.

 This wood was very nice in the evening sun.

 Here is a picture of the back with the light shining through it.
I love that effect.

This last picture was taken at the ruin of an old farm house.

I would never have thought to make a lone star quilt with squares. Did you have a pattern for it or did you cut the star after piecing? Great use of colors. I love it.

I love the rainbow color scheme, and I, too, just love the light coming through the quilt. All the photos of this quilt are beautiful, though. I'd be proud to own this one!
