Dear followers!
Dear followers!
Some time ago I announced that I would do a little giveaway when my blog would reach 300 followers. Now I´m at 306 followers, so it´s time!
I thought I would do something colorful to beat the winter blues. (Well, at least in the northern hemisphere, but of course you can take part wherever you live.)
You can win this little zippered pouch with a rainbow strip of 1-inch-squares on a black text background (Madrona Road an Mama Said Sew):
It is lined with a sweet light green fabric with nice orange and red flowers. I like light colored linings for bags, it´s so much easier to find what you search for than with a dark lining.
The bag has a nice size for carrying a bit of hand sewing with you or to store your sewing notions.
(the zipper is approx. 8 inches long)
Together with the pouch you will get 55 charm squares in the size of 3 inch, freshly cutted from my stash.
With these squares you could make your own rainbow-y project to brighten the dark winter days.
To take part, you have to be a follower (old or new) of my blog. This giveaway is especially for you faithful readers to say "thank you". :-)
Just leave me one comment per person, and if you like, tell me how the weather in your part of the world is.
Here it is quite crazy today. We already had sunshine, snow, rain and hail.
I am prepared to send this parcel anywhere in the world, so feel free to take part wherever you live. Please make sure that I can reach you and if you are a no-reply-blogger leave me an e-mail address.
I´ll leave this giveaway open until next Monday the 11th and will draw a random winner on Thursday.
Best of luck to you all! :-)

What a lovely bag! I'm crazy about text prints anyway, and adding a rainbow is PERFECT! Thanks for the blog, thanks for the chance to win :) (and our weather here in CO is unseasonably mild and quite dry.)
Fantastic bag! The weather up here is sunny and cold (very cold). We're new to the Adirondacks and according to the postcards we're supposed to be smothered in snow. Where is it, eh? Thanks for all the great inspiration!
how cute - and congrats on your 300+ followers, I follow you on my google reader
Congrations!!
What a great pouch!
Here in the UK it's windy and bitterly cold but at least it's not raining!!
Well done ! Love the colours of the giveaway.
Wet, windy and cold here in North Yorkshire uk
what a pretty rainbow to brighten up the winter blahs
Love this pouch! I'm a happy follower.
such cheerful colors!!! to match the sunny day here in central South Dakota its 35 F so the snow is melting with a gentle breeze out of the NW. I'm putting my boots on after lunch and going for a walk.

What a gorgeous pouch!! I love the charm squares, too. I am a happy follower of your blog and I am enjoying peaceful snow flurries this morning. Must be cold out there, but it is cozy by the fire. Congrats on reaching such a great milestone!!
Weather here in the Pacific NW: grey, rainy day, then it gets dark. Repeat until June. Sigh.
Hi Steffi.I live in the Southern part of the USA and it is in the 50's today. We have been having crazy weather here as well-lots of wind, rain and some snow over the weekend.
Thanks for the giveaway. I really like the pouch. And I follow you through GFC.
I have loved watching you make your hexie stars and flowers.
Pretty! I live in NC and It is sunny and nice today.
Hey, I'm in the bay area of CA. For us it's a little cold in the 50's with humidity. I will confess it's nothing like what I'm use to where I grew up. In the winter it's usually 19 or so.
How lovely! Would love to win a sweet rainbow with the lovely purse. I am from Switzerland and at the moment it is snowing. And know what. Our heating system in the building just broke down!!! So definitely time to snuggle under the quilts, lol!
And I am a happy follower!
What a pretty pouch! I'm in San Diego, it's overcast and in the 60s today. Thank you for the giveaway. I love your blog, especially your hexies!
Lovely. In St' Louis it is going to be in the 40's today. But in the last 2 weeks it has gone from 20 to 70.
What a lovely little bag :) I'm in Colorado and we're sunny and warm today!
Congratulation on your 306 follower. What a lovely bag and generous give away.
I am a follower of your blog and enjoy it. The weather in Denmark was grey in grey today, cold and with dark ice on the streets. It wasn't nice.
In the Yukon it is about - 20 with cloud and a bit of sun. Typical winter weather. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway and I follow via GFC.
Congratulations on your 300+ followers - way to go! The weather here in Cincinnati is better than it has been I suppose, hovering around the freezing mark with not enough snow on the ground for it to be pretty.
congrats on hitting 300, It's wet, windy, hailing and raining in rural France today :)
Congrats on over 300 followers.
Glad to be one of them.
Here in Hale, Missouri it is sunny and almost 51 out.
What a fantastic give-away! You are very generous and I would love to be the winner!
Finger crossed!
Thank you.
The weather here in TX is SO hot!!!! Almost 80F today!!
That pouch is just gorgeous! What a special giveaway. Here in Minnesota, USA it has been very cold - about 0 degrees F. It has also been snowing every day for 4 days now.
Love rainbow pieces... as for our weather, I'm in South Florida... woke up in the mid 50's, and it rose to mid 70's... I personally would like to get a few blasts of cold air, but so far this year, we haven't really had anything... nothing that required us to pull in the delicate potted plants... sometimes I'm jealous of these pictures of lovely quilts in snow, but then I think about living in it, and I'm quite happy where I am...
Lovely little bag and so useful! I always love charm packs - wonder is that why they named them that!
Here in N. Louisisna, it's been very nice the last couple of days. However that could change at any minute!
Great giveaway, I can think of a hundred things around my house that this would be ideal for. Weather in Wellington,NZ is beautiful. I am writing this comment whilst lying down outside the front of my house on an outdoor beanbag :) had close to 2 weeks of sunny weather in the mid 20s (consecutive days). I have been following your blog since. Started blogging and very much enjoy your work!
I'm happy to be a follower. you have such a nice blog :) Our Ohio weather is cold and snowy right now with more snow on it's way, I think. I'm loving the bright fabric colors!
Oh, yummy - candy!! Our weather is cold, I mean it is February in Iowa, but we're having a rather mild winter again this year. Lots of sunshine so that makes the days of winter much easier on my spirit. Congratulations on reaching and exceeding 300!
Hello from New Zealand. We are having the best summer in years - long warm days with cooler evenings. Everyone has been swimming, biking, walking and having bbq's. Perfect!

Hallo,

Frauke aka quilthexle
Love the clutch. I live in the NW part of the US and we have been in the 40s lately, but no snow for a while.
what a great give away! Here in the Netherlands we have had snow for a couple of weeks but the last week it's snow free (JAY!!!) it's cold but that's okay.
Pretty bag and fabric! Since I'm new to quilting I'd love to win this addition to my stash.
Liebe Grüße aus dem grau-bewölkten Wien!
The weather here in Florida is perfect! start out with a light weight jacket, then it gets warm enough you can put on shorts if you want to change or leave on your jeans and a t-shirt in the after noon, end with a light weight jacket again. Not too hot, and not to cool either.
I'm a follower and it will be a beautiful day in Texas today. It's supposed to be a 70-degree day and I'm ready for it! Thanks for the opportunity to win your giveaway.
I'm a new follower . Your dollhouse quilts are incredible.
Our weather today, mostly sunny, -7°C. It is nice to see the sun,
Thanks for the giveaway.
I've been a follower for awhile and enjoy reading. The weather in NC has been cold lately and especially rainy. I've got the winter blahs and ready to see spring!
