I´m a Guest Blogger at Sew We Quilt today!

Hello to all my new and old readers! :-)
It´s quite a while since I did my last post here. Unfortunately my computer had some severe issues during the last weeks and last Thursday it broke down completely. We had to bring it to a repair service and just got it back. I hope everything will be ok now.
I am very grateful that the specialists were able to save all my data files!

It was bad timing because of my guest blogging today at Sew We Quilt. But dear Madame Samm was so kind and did all the work for me. Thank you, Samm! :-)

I want to welcome all my new readers who came here via Sew We Quilt! It´s nice to have you here!

In the last weeks I didn´t do a lot of quilting, but I was busy building a little sewing studio for my dolls, in 1/10th scale. Here are the beginnings:

The men were decorating the room with a nice blue and white wallpaper. And notice the big design wall!

The most important things like the sewing machine and ironing board are already in place.

There are also some cutting mats and rotary cutters.

I think it will be nice to decorate the room now with all the items needed for quilting - fabrics, scraps, rulers, books, quilts both finished and unfinished...I sure will have some fun with this. Stay tuned! I´ll show you the progress during the next weeks!

Hi Steffi! Love Love Love the Teeny Tiny Quilts you shared over at Madam Samms' blog! I'll admit, I'm a wee bit jealous of those dolls and dollhouses! I just love dolls! Yours look so real! I think the teeny quilts are charming and this may be MY first quilt to attempt.
I live in Minnes*ta, USA. Yesterday, I met a precious woman who is from Germany. She is a delightful woman! I so enjoyed chatting with her!
I'll be following your blog and I'm excited to see what you do in the future. Now I need to go back and read all of your past posts!
Hugs from MN.! ~ Jo

Did you make the props like the sewing machine and cutting mats yourself or were you able to purchase them some place?

Oh Steffi I am amazed at how small they are...and I am still working on getting a doll house...have been now for 5 years. When I grew up I did play with dolls or have doll houses and now that I am older I seem to be wanting to have these. But I cannot believe that your beautiful quilts are so small. Truly amazing...

Hi Steffi, I'm visiting from Sew We Quilt and am absolutely amazed at your tiny little quilts. I haven't paper pieced yet but I think I'll start on something a little larger than these! I'm also very surprised that there's all the little sewing machines and sewing item copies available in doll size.
Cheers,
Robyn

Hi Steffi your tiny quilts are just amazing and I just love your little doll house. We bought our four year old grandson who is blind a doll house because he loved the one in a toy shop and it has been a wonderful learning tool for him. I really enjoyed looking at your blog. Blessings Sandra
