Delden Quilt Exhibition

We were in Delden/Holland today and visited the Quilt Exhibition that is organized by the team of ITY, the Delden Patchwork shop.
A lot of beautiful quilts, like this giant Double Wedding Ring.

A very nice idea to arrange the hexagons into a wreath.

Beautiful threedimensional appliqé on this quilt in fall colors.

Stunning scrap quilts.

Two wallhangings that are inspired by the work of the dutch artist Ton Schulten.

Isn´t this one beautiful?

This was one of my favorites - very detailed paper pieced birds.
Some day I´ll make a quilt with fall colors and leafes, too!
This was great, too! Reminds me of Hundertwasser.
And look! A little quilt shop! Too cute! :-)
And here is a picture of the Selvage Stars quilt. It hangs on our living room wall now, and it fits perfectly, I think. I couldn´t have planned the size of the quilt better, but it was totally unplanned. :-)

Thanks for the tour of the quilt show -- your photos are wonderful, and the quilts are fabulous.

I'm glad you gave Selvage Stars a good place in your home where it can be admired every day. It looks very pretty in that little alcove.

Fantastic idea to use the hexagon flowers as a wreath! I've never seen that. The bright colors are wonderful and that double wedding ring is outstanding. Thank you so much for taking the time to post these lovely pictures.
All my best,
Heather
